1. Who we are

Throughout this document, "we", "us", "our", "the Organizer" and "Meridian" refer to MD Serviços e Saúde Ltda trading as Meridian Global Institute. "You", "your" and "Participant" refer to the person registering for or attending the Event. By registering for the Event, purchasing a place, or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before completing your registration.

2. Nature of the Event

The Event is a three-day continuing medical education programme in advanced facial surgery, held on 26, 27 and 28 November 2026:


Days 1 and 2 — scientific sessions and hands-on anatomical dissection at the University of Málaga, Málaga, Spain.
Day 3 — live surgery observation at Ocean Clinic Marbella, Marbella, Spain.

The Event is educational and scientific in nature. It is not a medical service, a treatment, a clinical consultation, or an offer of medical care to the public. Nothing on this website is directed at patients or prospective patients. The Event does not confer any medical specialty, licence, board certification, accreditation, or authorisation to practise. Participants receive a certificate of attendance only, confirming presence at the programme. It is your sole responsibility to determine whether and how any technique presented may lawfully be applied within your own jurisdiction, scope of practice, training, and professional insurance coverage.

3. Eligibility

Attendance is restricted to qualified plastic surgeons holding a valid and current medical registration in their country of practice.


We reserve the right to request documentary proof of medical qualification and registration at any time, before or during the Event. Registration is not final until this verification is completed to our satisfaction.

If you do not meet the eligibility requirement, or if you decline or fail to provide the requested documentation, we will cancel your registration and refund any amount paid in full. This restriction exists because the programme includes human anatomical dissection and live surgery observation, both of which are lawfully limited to qualified medical professionals.

4. Registration and confirmation

operated by the payment platform Pagaa (https://pagaa.com.br/virtu). Payment by international bank transfer is also accepted; contact us at contact@meridianglobalinstitute.com to arrange this. 

A registration is confirmed only when both of the following have occurred: (a) full payment has been received and cleared, and (b) your professional eligibility under Section 3 has been verified. You will receive written confirmation by email once your place is secured. Until you receive that confirmation, your place is not guaranteed.

Places are limited by the physical capacity of the anatomy laboratory and the surgical facility. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. Price and payment

The standard registration fee for the Event is €7,900.00 (seven thousand nine hundred euros) per Participant.


Early Access rate:

An Early Access rate of €7,000.00 (seven thousand euros) is available for a limited allocation of 10 places, applied at checkout using the discount code EARLY900.

This is a limited-availability rate, not a time-limited countdown. It applies until all 10 Early Access places have been confirmed, at which point the standard rate of €7,900.00 applies to all subsequent registrations. We do not set an expiry date for this rate, we do not use countdown timers, and we do not reopen the allocation once it is filled. The number of Early Access places remaining is shown on the registration page and is updated as registrations are confirmed.

Taxes and charges:

The registration fee is the total amount payable to us. We do not add booking fees, administrative charges, or surcharges at checkout. Where any tax is legally due on this supply, it is included in the stated price and will not be charged to you separately.

Charges applied by your own bank or card issuer are outside our control and are your responsibility. These may include international transaction fees, currency conversion charges, cross-border fees, and any tax on foreign exchange transactions levied in your country of residence. These charges are collected by your financial institution, not by us, and we cannot refund them. If you wish to avoid them, international bank transfer is available as an alternative — contact us to arrange it.

6. What is included

Your registration fee includes:

• Full access to the three-day programme;
• Scientific and theoretical sessions with the faculty;
• Hands-on dissection on fresh frozen anatomical specimens;
• Live surgery observation at Ocean Clinic Marbella;
• Educational materials;
• Certificate of attendance;
• Coffee breaks and catering during programme hours;
• One dinner with faculty and participants;
• Course materials and event bag.

7. What is not included

Your registration fee does not include:

• International or domestic flights;
• Accommodation of any kind;
• Airport transfers or transport between Málaga and Marbella;
• Travel insurance, medical insurance, or professional liability insurance;
• Visa fees or documentation costs;
• Meals outside programme hours;
• Any personal expenses;


Travel, accommodation and transport arrangements are made by you, at your own cost and risk. We strongly recommend that you do not book non-refundable travel until you have received written confirmation of your registration.

8. Cancellation by the Participant, and refunds

You may cancel your registration by written notice to contact@meridianglobalinstitute.com.


Cancellation received 30 days or more before the first day of the Event (that is, on or before 27 October 2026): full refund of the registration fee paid.

Cancellation received fewer than 30 days before the first day of the Event: no refund is available.

Why the 30-day cutoff exists:

We want this to be transparent rather than buried in fine print. The hands-on component of the programme requires the acquisition of fresh frozen human anatomical specimens, which are procured to order on the basis of confirmed participant numbers. These specimens are sourced, prepared, transported and reserved specifically for the number of registered participants. Once ordered, they cannot be returned, resold, or reallocated, and the cost is incurred by us irrespective of attendance.


The 30-day cutoff is the point at which we must place that order. It reflects a real and unrecoverable cost, not an arbitrary penalty.


Transfer of your place:

At any time before the Event, including after the 30-day cutoff, you may transfer your registration to another qualified plastic surgeon at no additional charge, subject to the substitute participant meeting the eligibility requirements in Section 3 and being verified by us. Please notify us in writing at least seven days before the Event so that credentials can be verified and materials prepared.


Non-attendance:

Failure to attend without prior written cancellation does not entitle you to any refund or credit.

9. Changes, postponement and cancellation by the Organizer

The programme, schedule, faculty, venues, surgical cases and techniques demonstrated are indicative and may change. Live surgery in particular depends on patient availability, patient consent, and clinical suitability on the day, and specific procedures cannot be guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver a programme of equivalent scientific value and to notify you of material changes in advance.


Changes to individual faculty members, session order, or specific surgical cases do not entitle you to a refund.
If we cancel the Event entirely, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee, or the option to transfer your registration to a rescheduled edition, at your choice. If we postpone the Event, you may transfer your registration to the new date or request a full refund.

Our liability in the event of cancellation or postponement is limited to the registration fee you paid. We are not liable for flights, accommodation, transfers, visa costs, loss of professional income, or any other expense you incur in connection with the Event. This is why travel insurance is strongly recommended.

10. Faculty

Faculty members participate in the Event as independent invited speakers and instructors in a scientific and educational capacity.

Faculty members are not organizers, promoters, partners, shareholders, or commercial beneficiaries of the Event. They have no involvement in its organisation, promotion, marketing, pricing, or financial result. Their participation is limited to the delivery of scientific and educational content.

The appearance of any faculty member's name, image or institutional affiliation on this website is for the purpose of identifying the scientific programme and does not constitute an endorsement of any commercial offer, product or service, nor a promotional statement by that individual or by any institution with which they are affiliated.

11. Anatomy laboratory: conduct and ethics

The dissection component uses human anatomical specimens obtained through lawful and ethically approved channels for medical education and research. Participation carries the following non-negotiable obligations:

Specimens must be treated at all times with the dignity and respect owed to human remains.

Photography, filming, screen capture and audio recording are strictly prohibited in the anatomy laboratory, without exception.

All laboratory rules, safety protocols, and instructions issued by the University of Málaga and by the supervising faculty must be followed without exception.

Protective equipment must be worn as directed.

Breach of these obligations will result in immediate removal from the laboratory and, at our discretion, from the remainder of the Event, without refund. Serious breaches may be reported to the relevant institution and to your professional regulator.

12. Live surgery: patient privacy

The live surgery component takes place in an operating environment involving real patients who have given informed consent to the presence of observing physicians.

No photography, filming, screen capture or audio recording of any kind is permitted during live surgery.
No information capable of identifying a patient may be recorded, shared, discussed outside the Event, or published in any form, including on social media.

The instructions of the operating surgeon and the clinical team are final at all times.
Access to the surgical environment is at the discretion of the host clinic and may be restricted or withdrawn for clinical reasons.

You are bound by medical confidentiality in respect of everything you observe. Breach of patient confidentiality will result in immediate exclusion from the Event without refund and may be reported to the relevant authorities and to your professional regulator.

13. Code of conduct

We are committed to a professional, respectful and safe environment for all participants, faculty, staff and host institution personnel. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and disruptive or unprofessional behaviour will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to remove any person from the Event, without refund, for conduct that breaches these Terms, endangers others, breaches the rules of a host institution, or is incompatible with the professional standards expected of a registered physician.

14. Photography and recordings by the Organizer

We may photograph and record parts of the Event outside the anatomy laboratory and outside the surgical environment — for example, lecture sessions, networking moments and social activities — for documentation and promotional purposes.

By attending, you agree that your image may appear in such material. If you do not wish to appear, notify us in writing at contact@meridianglobalinstitute.com before or during the Event and we will make reasonable efforts to exclude you from published material and to remove you from material already published.

15. Intellectual property

All educational content presented at the Event, and all materials provided to participants — including slides, handouts, manuals, videos and digital resources — are protected by intellectual property rights belonging to us or to the respective faculty members.

Materials are provided for your personal professional education only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, resell, broadcast, or use them to deliver training to third parties without our prior written consent.
Recording, streaming or transmitting any part of the Event is prohibited unless expressly authorised by us in writing.

The content of this website, including text, images, and the Meridian Global Institute and Deep Plane Málaga & Marbella names and logos, is our property and may not be reproduced without permission.
